Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative and marketing assistance for the organization.  This position requires attention to detail; relationship management, strong customer service skills, discretion and good judgment when dealing with internal and external stakeholders, schedules and constantly changing information.  Focus on increasing brand awareness, creative messaging strategies for various channels and platforms that inform, educate, and promote the company’s vision, products, and services to current and potential customers also key.   

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Sales, Sr. Executive Assistant, and Hubbell Enterprise Marketing on initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial, and distribution, including day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and sales support
  • Produce marketing copy for our social media platforms and website
  • Track ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Assist with managing social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
  • Take part in customer events, including organizing trade shows
  • Responsible for business travel arrangements, associated expense reports and related accounting activities.
  • Shared responsibility for the management of company-sponsored events. Partners with other team members to coordinate internal and external employee events. Attends and actively participates in related events.
  • Draft letters, emails, announcements, etc. for communication as needed along with applicable tasks.
  • Process NDA, background checks, key card photos, and coordinate safety orientations for vendors.
  • Manage company vehicles: renew tabs, maintain tollway transponders, set up new vehicles.
  • Provide HR admin support as needed
  • Provided front desk coverage as needed
  • Be available for rapid response to changing demands and priorities.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • 3-5 years of administrative support, marketing & communications experience in a fast-paced environment, working both individually and as a team
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools
  • BS in Business Admin, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve complex and/or confidential issues with excellent judgment and little to no supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call.
  • Proven customer service orientation and the ability to work well with others
  • Creativity, self-driven, passionate, strong attention to detail
