Systems Control is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all production and facility maintenance related work by leading a team of Maintenance Technicians and Building & Grounds personnel.
Create and maintain Preventive/Predictive Maintenance processes for facility wide equipment
Safely and effectively troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues in a timely fashion
Ensure building & grounds are kept clean, safe and in good working order
Advance and maintain a critical equipment condition report
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies
Manage department budget
Work closely with supply chain to negotiate contracts with outside vendors, order replacement parts and set up spare parts
Track and report out on department KPI’s
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of relevant maintenance experience
Demonstrated self-initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision, and leadership.
Ability to solve problems using root cause analysis.
Work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment across organizational boundaries as a member of a broader team.
Possess strong technical curiosity and become a technical master in our core technologies.
Possess a demonstrated value for safety and willingness to participate in world class safety programs including providing peer to peer feedback and driving safety improvements as a matter of daily business.
Possess strong decision-making skills and the ability to see a project through to finish.
Ability to assess risk in terms of contractual relationships with maintenance vendors.
Ability to communicate technical information in both verbal and written formats.
Ability to teach others as we strive to grow basic technical skills and preventive maintenance responsibilities in our core operations
Strong background in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD programs and other Structural or Civil software packages (RISA & L-Pile experience preferred)
