  • Overview

    Systems Control is headquartered in Iron Mountain, Michigan.


    In partnership with our local high schools and Technical Education Center, we are offering work-based learning opportunities for students who are interested in working in an engineering office or manufacturing environment. 


    OFFICE POSITIONS:   Students must be willing to work at least a two-hour block to earn school credit.  Some after-school hours are available.

    • Accounting Clerk
    • Administrative Assistant (Panel Shipping)
    • CAD Designer (CREO)
    • Engineering Clerk
    • Desktop Support Technician


    PRODUCTION TALENT:  Off-shift hours available for production talent positions. Must be 18 years or older.

    • Assembly Technician
    • Fabricator Welder
    • Painter
    • Wiring Technician



    • Currently enrolled in local high school with good academic standing
    • Preferred candidates will have completed one year of CTE courses or ISD program in one of the following areas:

    o   Blueprinting/Drafting/Mechanical Design

    o   Electrical & Mechanical Systems in Industry (Mechatronics)

    o   Building Trades

    o   Welding Technologies

    o   Automotive Mechanics or Auto Body  

    o   Marketing & Entrepreneurship

    o   A+ Certification and Computer Coding

    o   Graphic Communications



    • Good attendance record
    • Ability and willingness to learn
    • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
    • Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office and Creo (for CAD positions)
    • Ability to take on multiple responsibilities/projects at once
    • Ability to work independently and on a team
